Add URL to the free directory

In order to make this directory a reliable resource all submissions are manually validated. Please read the rules below before submitting your URL as your submission will fail and your website not included unless all the rules are met. Backlink.org.uk believes in a fair policy and to provide a fair and worthwhile service it has to be like this, sorry.

Your website must meet all the following rules:

  1. Correctly submitted
    • Your URL tags must be relevant to the content of your website
    • The title and description must accurately describe your website
  2. Trust-worthy website
    • The website must contain useful content - basically not a spam farm
    • The website is regularly maintained and not under construction
    • There must be a method of contacting the webmaster - just an email link will do
    • The website must not use any black hat SEO methods or violate Google's guidelines
    • Nothing illegal, illicit, immoral or anything that looks like a scam
  3. Relevant to a UK audience
    • The website must contain UK content: prices in pound sterling, postage to UK, registrations open to UK, etc.
    • All body text should be written in English, preferably British English
    • The domain should preferably be registered to a UK address it doesn't have to be hosted on a UK server though
  4. No adult oriented websites
    • No pornography, sex or rude websites
    • No vulgar or offensive websites
    • Basic rule of thumb - if you wouldn't show it your mum then don't submit it
